LEGO Robotics: K-5

In this hands-on elective, students dive into the world of robotics using LEGO Education SPIKE™ Essential kits. Designed for young learners, this class blends storytelling, building, and simple coding to introduce core STEAM concepts in a playful and engaging way. Each week, students will work in teams to build creative models—like spinning carousels or animal robots—and bring them to life using beginner-friendly, drag-and-drop coding on tablets. Along the way, they’ll develop problem-solving skills, practice collaboration, and explore the basics of engineering and computer science through age-appropriate challenges. No reading or prior experience required—just curiosity and imagination!
