Students investigate the forces and patterns that shape our universe and planet through hands-on labs and modeling. Students explore the Earth–Sun–Moon system, gravity and motion in space, and the scale of the solar system, then examine Earth’s history through geologic time and large-scale geoscience processes. Students will use data and evidence to develop explanations for natural phenomena throughout the course.
Robotics and coding are used both in dedicated units and as tools for modeling, data collection, and problem-solving to deepen scientific understanding. This course builds strong analytical skills and is aligned to national NGSS and CSTA standards.
